Proof A`immah were muqalidin (2)

Taken from the book
Imam al-Bukhari al-Shafi`i
(www.islamieducation.com)

Shah Abd al-Aziz writes about Imam Nisa`i
“He was a Shafi’i, his book “Manaasik” is the evidence about him”.

Shah Abd al-Aziz writes about Imam Abu Dawud

“There is a difference of opinion of scholars about his jurispudence. Some say he was Shafi’i and some say he was Hambali”.

Shah Abd al-Aziz writes about Imam Ibn Mubarak:

“Abdullah bin Mubarak was leader of faithful people in (matters of) Ahadith. Primarily he adopted the apprenticeship of Imam-e-Azam Abu Haneefah (May Allah be pleased with him) and learnt jurisprudence from him. After the death of Imam-e-Azam (Allah’s mercy be upon him), he learnt jurisprudence further by Imam Malik in Madeenah Munawwarah. His Ijtihaad is the compendium of both jurisprudences. This is the reason Ahnaaf count him in Hanafiyah category and Malikis count him in Malikiyah category."

Please note that this Shah Abd al-Aziz is the teacher of the Ghayr Muqalidin "scholars", Dawud Ghaznawi and Thanaullah Amristari and therefore, he can not be dismissed by the Ghayr Muqalidin as the Ghayr Muqalidin take ownership of Shah Abd al-Aziz and Shah Waliullah.  Ibrahim Mir Sialkoti writes heaps of praises for Shah Waliyullah, the father of Shah Abdul Aziz.
